Sleeping Giant (2010)
Time for another dive into the archives, as we look at Sleeping Giant from Cornerstone Festival 2010.
I remember this show so clearly. The sense of anticipation before they took the stage, the energy in the room, their performance, the jostling of the mosh-pit as I was framing up my shots, and then someone trying to attack and embarrass their singer, Tommy Green, and his absolutely calm and forgiveness in the moments after.
I remember despite the chaos of a hardcore punk show, being led into a place of reverence and worship.
This was a moment. I’m glad I can share it now.
